Hi. Thank you for finding your way here. Backpact is my plush lo-fi melodic boom bap project. It’s a tape hissing analog synth pads boom-bap beats steamship. Crusty walkman tape melodies that plumb complex moods and conjure forgotten feels. Basslines weaving deep earth communicado like roots network wave lava that joins the specialist of beats at the bottom. It swerves and pulses, dips and rolls.
This album is intentionally left instrumental, to let the listener experience their own thoughts, add their own words.
Backpact is a project I started at the beginning of quarantine 2020 and prior to this album I have released 2 EPs and 1 single. “Endings Are Beginnings” is the culmination of hundreds of hours of musicmaking and audio tinkering. I poured myself into it and I love it. I hope you resonate with it too.

Sometimes more often than others but I always seem to come back for that inner geometric reset of the hologram 👽I feel like I’m listening to the best representation of light = electricity = what we are 🙌 been following David’s story for 20+ since London days.
